Iraqi borders prepare to receive Arbaeen Pilgrims


The Iraqi Border Ports Authority held a coordination meeting as part of its readiness to receive foreign pilgrims coming to participate in the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.
The Authority stated in a statement, “The Border Ports Authority commits to implement the decisions of the Supreme Committee for Health and National Safety in its last session, which included approval for the entry of Arbaeen pilgrims to the Zurbatiya border crossing in Wasit province, and 250 mourning processions with the number of members of each procession being limited to ten people only, while adhering to the preventive measures for Covid-19.”
The statement continued, “The Authority will organize all preparations to implement the decision with high professionalism and strictness in implementing its provisions, to ensure the safety of the arrivals.”
