Shias in Saudi Arabia to hold Quran contest in April
The final round of the 17th Quran competition for Shia Muslims in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Region will be held in April.

The city of Safwa will host the contest on April 11-12, according to Qaaf news agency.
It will be held by the Quran Center of the city’s charity society for three age groups of children, teenagers and adults.
Contenders will compete in the category of Quran recitation in the Hafs from Asim style.
They will also be judged on observation of the rules of Tajweed, Waqf and Ibtida.
