Winners of the second Quran competition for Iraqi armed forces were awarded at the closing ceremony on Tuesday.

According to the panel of judges, Saif Ali was the top winner in the category of memorization of the entire Quran.
In memorization of ten and five Juzes (parts) and one Juz of Quran, Hadi Taima, Yasir Ibraheem and Hakim Muhammad came first, respectively.
In recitation of the Quran, Muhammad Zalif bagged the top prize.
The preliminary stage of the competition had been organized last Wednesday and Thursday and those who were deemed the best by the panel of judges made it to the final round, held on Monday and Tuesday.
The participants were from different units of the Iraqi army, police, Popular Mobilization Units (Hashd al-Shaabi) and other armed forces.
A number of senior Iraqi Quran masters, including Osama al-Karbalayi, Rafi al-Ameri and Abu Muhammad al-Jinabi were among members of the panel of judges.
