A Takfiri terrorist group of pro-ISIS Sipah-e-Sahaba targeted the Shia Mosque Sayed-u-Shuhada during the Friday prayer sermon.
A portion of mosque roof was collapsed and a number of victims were trapped under debris.
The Mosque is situated inside Husseiniya Karbala where over 300 worshipers were inside.
The Jundullah group, which last year pledged allegiance to ISIS takfiri terrorist group, claimed the responsibility of the attack.
Shia Muslims have staged protests across Pakistan including a major demonstration in Karachi, against this recent deadly attack.
