Saudi authorities block Baqie mausoleums view by erecting a metal wall

The Saudi authorities have set up a metal wall around the holy graves of the Imams of Baqie to prevent pilgrims from seeing the view.

 

The Saudi authorities have set up a metal wall around the holy graves of the Imams of Baqie to prevent pilgrims from seeing the view.

Some pilgrims told Shiawaves that the Saudi authorities had erected a metal wall on the walls around the graveyard of Baqi al-Gharqad, in order to prevent pilgrims from seeing this holy historic place, noting that the Saudi authorities had previously prevented women from approaching the holy site.

The pilgrims added that the new decision forbids visitors to this sacred place from visiting even from afar, pointing out that although the Saudi authorities receive Sunni pilgrims with flowers and water of Zamzam, but they confiscte Shia religious books and treat them in humiliating ways.
