Quranic course concludes in the Hague

According to Qaaf news agency, the course featured memorization and interpretation of Surah Yaseen of the Holy Quran for adults.

It also included memorization of Surahs Naba and Nazi’aat for teenagers.  

Seyed Ali Saabari, the imam of the institute presented the interpretation of Surah Yaseen in Arabic and Wael Khatib translated them into the Dutch language.

The Dar-ol-Quran Center of the institute organized the Quranic course every Friday over the past five months.

The top participants in the course will be awarded by the institute in a ceremony in the holy month of Ramadan.

The Netherlands has some of the largest Muslim communities in the European Union, in percentage term.

There are almost one million Muslims in the country, representing approximately 6 percent of the population. Muslims are concentrated in large urban areas, particularly the four largest cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Ulrecht.
