The Ministry said that in recent airstrikes on militant hideouts in Uruzgan province at least four terrorists were killed.
The strike was conducted on militant hideouts in an area on the outskirts of Trinkot city, the provincial capital. The ministry said a weapons cache was also destroyed.
According to the ministry, five terrorists were killed, including a Taliban commander, known as Mullah Mir Wali, in a separate airstrike in Durqad district of Takhar province.
In addition, three others were wounded, among them Qari Sefat and Mawolavi Aram. No more details were provided about the operations. Taliban terrorist organization has not yet commented.
