 Karbala Governor Aqeel al-Tureihi expects this year’s Arbaeen Pilgrimage to be the greatest ever in terms of numbers.

 

 

Karbala Governor Aqeel al-Tureihi expects this year’s Arbaeen Pilgrimage to be the greatest ever in terms of numbers.

Al-Tureihi said in a media conference, that the numbers of pilgrims have increased immensely, particularly the Iranian pilgrims.

As for the security plans, the governor revealed that the local government of the holy city of Karbala has approved the security plan provided by the security forces in the city.

The security plan for this year is going to divide the city into different sectors to facilitate the flow aof pilgrims and prevent any roadblocks.
