According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the program was attended by a number of religious and cultural figures of the region.
It was addressed by Hojat-ol-Islam Hassanzadeh, head of the council, who highlighted the importance and the role of Hijab in the society.
The scholar added that Hijab is not merely a covering dress but more importantly, it is modesty in behavior, speech and thought.
Also speaking in the forum, was Ms Alizadeh, a member of the council, who stressed that Hijab is a requirement for both men and women in Islam.
She noted that if Hijab is fully observed, safety will increase in society, which is one of the purposes of Hijab.
