Child dead, several injured in Karachi Imambargah attack

At least one child was killed while seven people, including women, were injured in a grenade attack in Karachi’s Liaquatabad neighborhood on Monday.

At least one child was killed while seven people, including women, were injured in a grenade attack in Karachi’s Liaquatabad neighborhood on Monday.

Police said unidentified men lobbed a grenade in Block 4 of Liaquatabad near Dar-e-Abbas Imambargah. 

According to sources, a women majlis was ongoing at the time of the attack.

The deceased was identified as 13-year-old Faraz.

Police, rescuers and BDS officials arrived at the spot and the victims were being shifted to the Abbassi Shaheed Hospital.
