The demise anniversary of Alama al-Majlisi

The twenty-sixth day of the month of Ramadan marks the demise anniversary of the Alama Muhammad Baqir a-Majlisi.

 

 

The twenty-sixth day of the month of Ramadan marks the demise anniversary of the Alama Muhammad Baqir a-Majlisi.

The Alama is the third son of Mulla Muhammad Taqi al-Majlisi, who was a glorious Shia scholar. Al-Majlisi was able to write books and spread Islamic sciences and arts during the late Safavid rule.

The ِAlama was also able to manage the Shiite affairs in his time as he established constructive and useful services to Muslims and Shiites in Iran.

The great scholar wrote more than seventy books in two languages, Persian and Arabic.
