Five civilians were killed and dozens were injured, some of them women and children, in a series of terrorist mortar attacks on neighborhoods in Damascus.
A source at the Police Command said that two mortar shells fired by terrorists fell in al-Duwaila’a neighborhood in Damascus, claiming the lives of 4 civilians and injuring 25.
The source said five more shells fell in the neighborhoods of al-Qasa’a, Bab Touma, al-Qaimariye, and al-Hamidiye, killing one civilian and injuring 12 who were rushed to hospitals.
The attacks also caused material damages to homes and cars.
