Pakistani Shia party demands operation against Shia genocide

This Shia party has reiterated its demand for an operation against sectarian killers operating in the Karachi.

 

“The Sindh government has repeatedly assured our leadership of severe action against sectarian militants but, once again, it has failed to keep its word.

The secretary general of this Shia party said that the authorities’ inaction serves to encourage these ruthless killers and they are openly targeting our people.

He likened the situation of Shias in Pakistan to that of Iraq and Syria, stressing the need for severe punishments to barbaric terrorists.

Hashmi warned that if the government still failed to initiate measures, the Shia community would be forced to come out on the streets.
