Daily Lifestyle Changes Seen as Key to Preventing Neurological Diseases and Dementia
———————————-
Protecting brain health and preventing cognitive decline in old age has become one of the major concerns of modern societies.
While many people believe neurological diseases are mainly linked to genetics, new medical findings suggest that environmental and lifestyle factors play a much greater role.
According to Euronews, researchers at Curtin University in Australia found that simple and practical changes in daily habits could help prevent more than half of dementia cases worldwide.
The researchers emphasized that although public awareness campaigns have attracted attention, they have not yet produced enough clear and practical changes in people’s daily behavior to significantly reduce the risk of the disease.
Experts say improving lifestyle habits, promoting prevention, and encouraging healthier daily routines remain essential steps in protecting brain health and reducing the future burden of dementia.
