Health Risks Linked to Frequent Instant Noodle Consumption
………..

Instant noodles remain a popular, affordable, and convenient meal, particularly amid rising food costs, according to The Independent. However, nutrition experts warn that a standard packet is typically high in sodium—ranging from 600 to 1,500 mg per serving—and low in fiber, protein, and essential vitamins.

Studies suggest that eating instant noodles more than twice a week may increase the risk of metabolic syndrome, heart disease, and diabetes, especially in women. Excess sodium can strain the heart and kidneys, while low fiber intake is linked to poor gut health and higher risk of type 2 diabetes and bowel cancer. Adding vegetables, protein, and healthy fats can make them part of a balanced diet.
