Imam Hussein Holy Shrine puts final designs for psychiatric hospital in Holy Karbala

The Engineering Projects Department at Imam Hussein Holy Shrine announced that it has completed the final designs for the construction of the Warith Psychiatric Hospital in the holy city of Karbala.

In a statement to Shia Waves Agency, Hussein Reza Mahdi, head of the Engineering Department, said that “Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has taken on the responsibility of establishing strategic projects that serve the honorable citizens in various governorates of Iraq.

Mahdi explained that the project came following appeals from citizens and specialized doctors to open such hospital to care for people.

The hospital is located on the Holy Karbala-Najaf highway, and is expected to be completed in 2025.
