New Kiswa of Al-Abbas Holy Shrine installed on the holy grave

The work of installing the new cladding (Kiswa) for the Holy Shrine of Aba Al-Fadhl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) has been completed after a work that took three years.

The ceremony of installing the new Kiswa was attended by religious and official figures and a number of officials of the holy shrine.

The new Kiswa is adorned with gold bearing the titles of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) on each of the four corners.

The new covering is distinguished from the previous coverings, in terms of durability, the amount of gold and precious stones used and the technically innovative designs.

The new Kiswa was donated by the Committee of Aba Al-Fadhl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) from Kuwait, which specializes in cladding the holy shrines.
