UN delegation visits Holy Shrine of Imam Ali in holy Najaf

An official delegation from the United Nations had the honor of visiting the holy shrine of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him.

The UN delegation, headed by Christian Richter, head of the UN investigation team to promote accountability for the crimes committed by ISIS in Iraq, was briefed on the historical and cultural dimensions and the spiritual atmosphere of the holy shrine.

The international delegation appreciated the warm reception and hospitality, expressing their admiration of the services provided to the pilgrims.
