More than 1500 volunteers provided services to pilgrims of Imam Ali Holy Shrine on Eid al-Ghadeer

Imam Ali Holy Shrine announced the participation of more than 1500 volunteers in providing various services to the beloved pilgrims of the Holy Shrine on the occasion of Eid al-Ghadeer.

Ahmed Al-Zourkani, Head of the Volunteers Division, said in a statement that more than 1500 volunteers belonging to various processions and organizations participated in the service of pilgrims alongside Imam Ali Holy Shrine employees on the auspicious occasion.

 

“The volunteers came from Basra, Maysan, Diyala, Dhi Qar, Diwaniya, Muthanna, Wasit and the capital Baghdad, in addition to Najaf,” he added.

Eid al-Ghadeer, or the day in which Imam Ali was appointed as the successor after Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was yesterday.
