Women’s Quran competition for the eleventh year at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine

The Qur’anic Education Unit of the General Secretariat of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine held the Quranic Competition (“And Recite the Qur’an with Measured Recitation”) at the Sayyid al-Awsiya Hall.

 

 

The Qur’anic Education Unit of the General Secretariat of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine held the Quranic Competition (“And Recite the Qur’an with Measured Recitation”) at the Sayyid al-Awsiya Hall.

Unit official Instisar Fadhel said, “The competition witnessed a distinguished presence by the contestants and those interested in the Holy Quran, where more than 200 contestants from the holy province of Karbala participated.”

Fadhel added that this competition, which lasted for two days and was held for the eleventh year, selects three winners through the jury panel:  Khadija Al-Sahaf in the starting and pausing, Majda Hassan in the recitation, and Instisar Fadhel in voice and tone.”
