Within the framework of the activities of the Great Prophet Cultural Week held at al-Abbas Holy Shrine on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him and his holy progeny, a celebration was held in the presence of a number of religious and academic figures as well as a number of satellite channels.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran to be followed by the word of the Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine; Engineer Mohamad al-Ashigar, who stressed that we must learn from the Prophet’s intellectual and ideological lessons.
This was followed by the speech of Dr. Adel Nadeer Beri, who highlighted that the life of Prophet Mohammad was and will remain an ideal example for all of humanity.
After that, poet Dr. Karim Mazhar recited his poem praising and expressing the love to the Holy Prophet.
A documentary film about the achievements of the House of the Great Prophet was displayed, followed by the activities of the research session headed by Dr. Dawud Salman Khalaf.
