Quranic booths launched in Basra for Arbaeen pilgrims

A number of Quranic booths have started operating in Iraq’s Basra province as some pilgrims began their journey on foot to the holy city of Karbala for Arbaeen.

A number of Quranic booths have started operating in Iraq’s Basra province as some pilgrims began their journey on foot to the holy city of Karbala for Arbaeen.

According to media, as many as 24 Quranic booths have been set up in the province on the way of the pilgrims as part of a Quranic plan for Arbaeen, Ahmed al-Shami, an official in the province said.

He said the plan is being implemented in cooperation with Quran masters of the Shias Awqaf Department as well as Quran teachers of the Dar-ol-Quran Center of the Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, holy shrine.
