Scholarly Quranic conference planned in Karbala

A scholarly conference about the Holy Quran and Ahlulbait, peace be upon them,  is planned to be held in the holy city of Karbala, Iraq, in November.

 

A scholarly conference about the Holy Quran and Ahlulbait, peace be upon them,  is planned to be held in the holy city of Karbala, Iraq, in November.

According to the website of Imam Hussein holy shrine, the Quranic Studies Center affiliated to the holy shrine will organize the event.

Sayyed Mortadha Jamaleddin, head of the organizing committee, said Epistemic concomitance of the Quran and Etrat, the Ahlulbait, peace be upon them, is the title of the conference.

He said it will be held with the motto of Lan Yaftariqa (they will not separate) on Friday, November 23.

According to Jamaleddin, the participants will discuss the fact that the Quran and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon them, are not separated.  

There will be also research papers on Quranic sciences, Tafseer (Quran interpretation), and ethical, political and literary issues, he added.
