Karbala Center for Studies and Researches resumes project of tracing the trek of Imam Hussein

Karbala Center for Studies and Researches, affiliated to the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, has held a preparatory meeting for the second phase of a project concerning tracing the trek of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

Karbala Center for Studies and Researches, affiliated to the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, has held a preparatory meeting for the second phase of a project concerning tracing the trek of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

Dr. Fawziya al-Maliki, General Manager of Iraqi Monuments and Ruins Office, said that there are many studies and maps which document the places that Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, passed by during his trek from the Saudi borders to the holy city of Karbala.

She added that this project, which will commence on next March, aims to document these places to be official places for all researchers and specialists in the field of monuments and ruins.
