The curtain of the Holy Ka’bah is now one of the properties of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine Museum.

The curtain – inlayed with vegetable, golden, and silver threads – was used at Bab al-Touba, or the Repentance Gate. It was presented to the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.

One of the greatest establishments of the holy shrine of Imam Hussein in Karbala is the Imam Hussain Museum, established in 2009. The museum has been described by UN representatives as one of the “top museums in the country”.
