Imam Hussein Holy Shrine discusses holding Quranic courses in Indonesia

The head of the Islamic Cultural Center in Indonesia Abdul-MejeedElahi met up with the Chief Cleric of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine Sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbela’e.

 

 

The head of the Islamic Cultural Center in Indonesia Abdul-MejeedElahi met up with the Chief Cleric of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine Sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbela’e.

During the meeting, they discussed the matters of holding courses on teaching Quran in Indonesia. Elahi expressed his admiration in Darul Quran institution affiliated toImam Hussein Holy Shrine and its efforts in teaching Quran in many different and remote places, including islands, in Indonesia.

Indonesia is the world’s Muslim-majority country with over 230 million Muslims, accounting for 13% of all Muslims in the world.

 El-Kerbela’e commended Darul Quran for the success they achieved in teaching Indonesian people Quran and the means of memorizing it.
