Imam Hussein Shrine Draped in Black Ahead of Holy Prophet’s Martyrdom Anniversary

The holy shrine of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in Karbala has been adorned with black coverings as the anniversary of the martyrdom of Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) approaches.

According to Shia Waves Agency, the servants of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine have raised mourning banners and installed condolence inscriptions throughout the shrine’s courtyards and surroundings in preparation for receiving mourning groups and grieving pilgrims.

The preparations reflect the reverence and sorrow observed by devotees of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in remembrance of the Holy Prophet’s (peace be upon him and his family) passing.
