Montreal Hosts Commemorative Gathering Marking Birth Anniversary of Imam al-Mahdi (peace be upon him)

The World Center of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, in cooperation with the Iranian Islamic Center in Montreal, Canada, held a special gathering to mark the auspicious birth anniversary of Imam Hujjat ibn al-Hasan al-Askari (may Allah hasten his noble reappearance).

The ceremony began with the congregational Maghrib and Isha prayers, led by Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Sheikh Saleh Sibaway, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by Ustad Rezaei.

During the event, young eulogist and Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) devotee Mirza Ahmad Sibaway performed poetic verses in praise of Imam al-Mahdi (peace be upon him), with attendees joining in the devotional recitations.

The program also included a lecture by Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Sheikh Saleh Sibaway, who spoke about the signs of the reappearance, end-time conditions, and the conduct of people as described in narrations from the Prophet of Mercy, Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and the Infallible Imams (peace be upon them).

The gathering concluded with participants collectively reciting the Supplication for the Reappearance (Du‘a al-Faraj), praying for the hastening of the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance).
