The minarets of the Holy Shrine of Imam Musa al-Kadhim and Imam Muhammad al-Jawad (peace be upon them) were ceremonially washed in Kadhimayn as part of the annual observances marking the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Kadhim (peace be upon him).

The ritual was carried out by shrine servants in the presence of mourners and pilgrims, reflecting a long-standing tradition of reverence and preparation ahead of major religious commemorations. The ceremony symbolizes purification, devotion and respect for the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

The event coincides with the Kadhimiyya march, one of the most significant religious processions in Iraq, during which hundreds of thousands of pilgrims walk to the Kadhimayn shrine from Baghdad and other cities.
