Al-Abbas’s Holy Shrine Scientific Complex Highlights Quranic Reach and Education
—————————————
The Scientific Complex of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas’s (peace be upon him) Holy Shrine has recently demonstrated its twin focus on Quranic scholarship and education through an international exhibition and a spiritual educational trip for its students, according to articles by ABNA English.
The Complex garnered wide attention at the Sharjah International Book Fair in the UAE by showcasing the Holy Quran printed by the Al-Abbas’s (peace be upon him) Holy Shrine. Dr. Mushtaq Al-Ali, head of the Scientific Complex, noted that the printed Quran, in its various sizes, received numerous inquiries from specialized authorities and researchers. The Complex’s pavilion featured more than 120 Quranic publications, including encyclopedias and books on Quranic sciences and arts, with several copies of the Holy Quran gifted to visitors.
Concurrently, the Complex organized a religious trip for its recitation and Tajweed students and their teachers to the Askariyayn Holy Shrine in Iraq. Mr. Muntadhar Al-Mushaykhi, head of the Holy Quran Institute in Babel, explained that the trip included a Quranic gathering in the shrine’s courtyard featuring recitations and Hussaini poems. The delegation also performed congregational prayers, shared lunch, and performed the Ziyarat of the shrine of Sayed Mohammad, son of Imam Ali al-Hadi (peace be upon them both). This field program aims to strengthen students’ connection with the Holy Quran and promote spiritual values.
