Stockholm Shia Center Marks Birth Anniversary of Sayyida Zainab (peace be upon her)

Imam Hassan al-Mujtaba Hussainiya, a center affiliated with the Shia religious authority in Stockholm, Sweden, hosted a celebration marking the birth anniversary of Sayyida Zainab bint Ali (peace be upon them both).

The event, held on Thursday, featured a religious lecture delivered by Sheikh Zaki Al-Bayati. A number of poets and eulogists also participated, reciting praise poetry in honor of the granddaughter of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his pure family).

Organizers said the annual gathering aims to honor the moral virtues and legacy of Sayyida Zainab (peace be upon her), revered by Shia Muslims for her role in preserving the message of Imam al-Hussein (peace be upon him) following the tragedy of Karbala.

The celebration drew members of the local community and families, who attended to commemorate the auspicious occasion.
