Iran Plans Commemorative Week for Honourable Abdul Azim al-Hasani

The city of Rey, located south of Tehran, is holding a week-long celebration to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Honourable Abdul Azim al-Hassani (peace be upon him). The events, which began on September 22, are being held under the slogan “Ambassador of Guidance; Exemplar of Dignity,” as announced by the scientific and cultural deputy of the holy shrine’s custodianship.

According to a report from the International Quran News Agency (IQNA), the cultural week of Rey has been timed to coincide with this birth anniversary. The Honourable Abdul Azim al-Hassani (peace be upon him), also known as Shah Abdol Azim, was a prominent Shia hadith scholar and a fifth-generation descendant of Imam Hassan ibn Ali (peace be upon them both).

The week-long program includes more than 85 cultural, religious, and social activities designed to highlight his guiding role and services to society. The celebrations are scheduled to conclude with the birth anniversary of Imam Hassan al-Askari (peace be upon him).
