An international virtual conference, organized by the Baqee Organization, was held to mark the anniversaries of the Prophet Muhammad, Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba, and Imam Ali al-Ridha (peace be upon them all). The event highlighted global efforts to advocate for the reconstruction of the historic Al-Baqi Cemetery in Medina.

Religious scholars and researchers emphasized that the continued silence over the demolition of the cemetery is a disregard for the sanctity of the Prophet’s family. Speakers called for collective Muslim action to revive Al-Baqi and promote its cultural and religious significance.

The conference underscored the importance of uniting through the Qur’an and the Ahl al-Bayt, and urged scholars to raise the issue on international platforms. Organizers announced that documents concerning Al-Baqi’s destruction have been submitted to the UN and human rights bodies. Plans were also revealed for a symbolic memorial near Wadi al-Salam in Najaf to support spiritual engagement with Al-Baqi’s legacy.
