Holy Karbala hosted a visual arts exhibition alongside the International Arbaeen Scientific Conference, organized by the Karbala Center for Studies and Research in collaboration with Baghdad University’s Fine Arts Department, media outlets reported. The exhibition showcased diverse artworks reflecting the spiritual and social atmosphere of the annual pilgrimage.

The center’s director, Abdul Amir Al-Quraishi, noted that the event provided artists with a platform to express pilgrims’ experiences and emotions through painting, capturing the deep aesthetics and values of sacrifice and altruism associated with Arbaeen.

Al-Quraishi added that the exhibition enhances the conference by introducing a cultural and humanistic perspective, allowing visitors to engage with the pilgrimage beyond its ritual dimension.

Organizers emphasized that integrating art into the event not only documents the significance of Arbaeen but also leaves a lasting impression on attendees and participants, fostering appreciation for the ceremony’s spiritual and communal aspects.
