The Misbah Al-Hussain Foundation for Relief and Development in Holy Karbala has launched its fifth annual “Visitor’s Chair” initiative to assist elderly, sick, and disabled pilgrims during the Arbaeen pilgrimage. The program provides wheelchairs to facilitate transportation within the city center and surrounding areas, easing access to the two holy shrines.

Abdul Sahib Al-Kishwan, the foundation’s director, emphasized that the initiative relies on a dedicated team of volunteers who accompany and assist pilgrims with care and commitment throughout the event.

Al-Kishwan also highlighted the foundation’s ongoing field efforts during Arbaeen, working in coordination with relevant authorities to ensure smooth and effective service delivery for all visitors.

Affiliated with the office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi, the Misbah Al-Hussain Foundation is recognized in Holy Karbala for its diverse humanitarian and development projects, particularly those focused on supporting religious visitors and local communities.
