Grand Ayatollah Shirazi’s Center in Canada Holds Mourning Ceremony for Imam Sajjad and Lady Ruqayya (peace be upon them both)

The World Center of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Husseini Shirazi in Montreal, Canada, held a mourning ceremony and a Tawassul (supplication) gathering dedicated to Lady Ruqayya (peace be upon her), commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Zayn al-Abidin (Imam Sajjad, peace be upon him).

The event saw the participation of numerous believers and devotees of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). The program included congregational prayers, Quran recitation, recitation of Ziyarat Ashura, a lecture, remembrance of the suffering (Musibat) of Imam Sajjad and Lady Ruqayya (peace be upon them both), Dua-e-Tawassul, and eulogy recitation (Marsiya Khwani).
