With the Arbaeen pilgrimage season approaching, preparations are intensifying across various sectors to accommodate millions of visitors. In this context, the Misbah Al-Hussain Relief and Development Foundation has launched a specialized training workshop titled “Hussaini Paramedic” under its “Path of Development” program, aimed at qualifying volunteer teams in field medical care.
The workshop seeks to prepare skilled volunteer cadres to provide first aid services at medical posts distributed along the routes leading to the holy city of Karbala. This initiative responds to the growing need for emergency medical support due to the anticipated large number of pilgrims traveling on foot.
Trainers emphasized the development of participants’ abilities to handle urgent medical situations and deliver prompt, efficient first aid, thereby ensuring a safe and healthy environment for visitors throughout their spiritual journey to Karbala.
This effort is part of the foundation’s broader commitment to supporting the Arbaeen pilgrimage through practical field assistance and fostering a culture of medical volunteering during major religious events.
