Holy Karbala Holds Security Conference to Prepare for Holy Arbaeen

Holy Karbala province held a high-level security conference on Saturday at the headquarters of the Karbala Operations Command to discuss organizational and security preparations for receiving millions of pilgrims from inside and outside Iraq.

Ali Al-Miyali, First Deputy Governor of Karbala, said the meeting was attended by senior military, security, and service officials. Discussions focused on the deployment of security forces, traffic control plans, crowd management strategies, and securing key routes leading to the holy shrines of Imam Hussein and his brother Abbas (peace be upon them).

The conference also addressed civil defense readiness for emergencies, with all units placed on high alert amid expectations of a massive influx of pilgrims in the coming days. Al-Miyali emphasized that the meeting reflects the commitment of local authorities and security leaders to ensuring a safe and organized environment that honors the significance of this major religious occasion.
