Commemoration of Ten Nights of Sajjadieh Held at Ale-Yasin Mosque, Hussainiya in Sydney
——————————
Coinciding with the sacred month of Muharram 1447 AH, the Ten Nights of Sajjadieh ceremony was held with diverse and spiritually rich programs at the Ale-Yasin Mosque and Hussainiya, a center affiliated with the Marja’iyyah in Sydney, Australia.
Each evening, the event commenced with congregational Maghrib and Isha prayers, followed by lectures highlighting the distinguished characteristics of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him). The program also featured Quran recitations, the recitation of the Ziyarat of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), and mourning sessions dedicated to the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).
The speeches were delivered by Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Abu Du’aa, who elaborated on the teachings and virtues of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), creating a deeply reflective and spiritual atmosphere for the attendees.
As a significant religious hub connected to Grand Ayatullah Shirazi, Ale-Yasin Mosque and Hussainiya plays an active role throughout the year in preserving and promoting the teachings, culture and rituals of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) within the Shia Muslim community of Australia, especially during blessed Muharram.
