Al-Abbas holy shrine continues offering services for the displaced families from Nineveh and Kirkuk provinces.
Al-Abbas holy shrine continues, through its internally displaced people relief committee, to offer services for the displaced families, mostly Shia families, who fled their cities by force by the takfiri groups of the so-called Islamic State of in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
The head of the committee said that they work under the supervision of al-Abbas holy shrine, adding that the number of displaced families from the provinces of Kirkuk and Nineveh pouring into the holy city of Karbala is increasing reached up to 13, 000 people.
He pointed out that the displaced families found shelter in the Husseiniahs distributed on the roads leading to the holy city of Karbala,
It is worth mentioning that al-Abbas holy shrine had previously announced its full readiness to receive the Christian displaced families who fled Mosul due to the takfiri threats of ISIL
