Imam Hussein Charity launches ‘Chill for Change’ project
Imam Hussein Chairty based in London has their annual Afghanistan winter appeal campaign but this year they have a special project for the campaign, ‘Chill for Change’.
The idea behind this is that 3 Shia personalities, Mulla Ali Fadhil, Mulla Rashid Haider and Omid Alizada, swap their warm beds for a night outside raising money for those who are freezing due to the dangerously low temperatures in Afghanistan.
Temperatures in some areas of Afghanistan can plummet to as low as -30 degrees, and Imam Hussein Charity is conducting this Sleep Out to show the public how difficult it is to survive in such harsh winters.
The three personalities will be live on the social media app, Instagram showing their followers what its like whilst also documenting the night.
To donate you can go on the Imam Hussein Chairty.
