US: Men accused of unlawful killing of 3,600 birds, including eagles

Two US men have been charged with illegally killing about 3,600 birds, including bald and golden eagles, BBC reported on Thursday.

Simon Paul and Travis John Branson allegedly shot the birds over several years on Montana’s Flathead Indian Reservation and elsewhere, the source said, adding that they sold parts and feathers on the black market.

The defendants were charged with conspiracy, violating the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act, and illegal trafficking.

Islam strictly prohibits any act that harms innocuous animals and causes damage to the ecosystem as a religion of peace for all creatures of God.
