Madagascar: Shia Muslims celebrate blessed birth anniversary of Sayyeda Zainab

The Shia followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, in the city of Mahajanga in Madagascar have celebrated the Zainabi Days in an atmosphere of joy and happiness.

The director of the office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in the city, Hujjat-ul-Islam wa-al-Muslimeen Sheikh Mohammad Wasram, said that “the people of Mahajanga have celebrated the blessed birth anniversary of Sayyeda Zainab, peace be upon her, and recalled her heroism and steadfastness during the the Husseini Revolution.”

It should be mentioned that Shia Muslims, in Islamic and non-Islamic countries, are celebrating the birth anniversary of Sayyeda Zainab, peace be upon her, as they organize joyful ceremonies to mark this even.
