Iraq: Turkish ambassador to Iraq visits holy shrine of Imam Hussein in Holy Karbala

The Turkish ambassador to Iraq Ali Ridhda Gunawi has visited the holy shrine of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, in Holy Karbala.

The ambassador and his accompanying delegation toured the holy shrine and performed the Ziyarah of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, expressing their admiration of the architecture and spirituality of the place.

Gunawi emphasized that his country is ready to open mutual horizons of cooperation with Iraq on various levels.

It should be mentioned that Holy Najaf and Karbala are frequently visited by officials from different countries, where they have the honor of visiting the holy shrines of the Infallible Imams.
