EU commission condemns recent spike of faith-based crimes against Muslims, Jews

The European Union Commission released a statement yesterday in response to a recent spike in anti-Semitism as well as hate speech and hate crimes against Muslims fueled by escalation of the war in Gaza.

The statement emphasized that Jews, Muslims and Christians should not live in fear of discrimination or violence because of their religion or their identity.

It should be noted that cases of anti-Semitism and hate-driven attacks on Muslims and their holy places have increased in Europe recently.
