Restoration of Imam Ali Holy Shrine’s oldest window

Imam Ali Holy Shrine announced the start of maintenance and restoration work on the oldest window for the holy shrine of the Commander of the Faithful—Imam Ali—peace be upon him.

The metal frame will be displayed at Imam Ali Holy Shrine’s Museum as one of the most important historical treasures of the holy shrine.

Dr. Abdul Hadi Al-Ibrahimi, a member of the board of directors of Imam Ali Holy Shrine, said: “The technical staff in the Treadures Unit are working on the maintenance of the second window for the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, which was donated by Sultan Hussein I Safavid in 1212 AH.”
