In celebration of Honorable Prophet’s blessed birth, World Shirazi Foundation calls for releasing detainees

The World Shirazi Foundation has congratulated humanity in general and Muslims in particular on the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday, praying to Allah Almighty to bless all the peoples of the earth and to send upon security, peace, and prosperity.

In a message obtained by Shia Waves Agency, the foundation said: “As the foundation congratulates the kings, leaders, and presidents of Arab and Islamic countries on this great occasion, it calls on them to seize this opportunity to bring joy and happiness to their peoples and societies.”

The Foundation called for the release of detainees on political grounds, especially human rights activists, journalists, and social media publishers, whose release does not violate justice and law.

The Foundation stressed that responding to this call, fulfilling it, and taking the initiative to achieve it represents a very important procedural step in terms of promoting clemency, and consolidating the concepts of good governance that are sought to be achieved, and is compatible with the teachings of the Honorable Prophet and his pure family, peace be upon them”

It stressed that “if achieved, this initiative will represent a universal example to be followed be the international community, and it improves the human rights record when all political detainees are released, in addition its positive outcomes on internal stability and security.”
