CAIR celebrates American Muslim Appreciation and Awareness Month

The San Francisco Bay Area office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-SFBA), welcomed the city of Santa Clara’s recognition of August 2023 as American Muslim Appreciation and Awareness Month.  

The Council said in a statement that “Santa Clara will celebrate the month this year after it has been approved during the city’s council meeting.”

It added that, “For the eighth year in a row, the state of California has designated August as American Muslim Appreciation and Awareness Month.

According to the statement, there are 60 thousand Muslims living in the city of Santa Clara.
