Iraq reiterates demands for dissolving al-Hol camp in Syria
Due to its danger in promoting and producing extremism and hatred, Iraq has reiterated its demands for dissolving the Hol camp in Syria, calling on world countries to repatriate their nationals.
This statement, released on Sunday, came during an official meeting between National Security Advisor of Iraq, Qassem Al-Araji, and the new British Ambassador to Baghdad.
Al-Araji’s office said in the statement, followed by Shia Waves Agency, that “The two sides discussed the overall political and security situations in the region and the world, and the ways to strengthen collaboration between the two countries on various levels.”
The statement added that, “The two officials spoke about the Hol camp and Sinjar, anti-narcotics combat and mutual cooperation to fight terrorism.”
