Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf recieves nearly four million pilgrims during Eid-ul-Adha

The Imam Ali Holy Shrine announced on Monday that nearly four million pilgrims had performed Ziyarah to Imam Ali, peace be upon him, during the three-day blessed Eid-ul-Adha.

The official of the Media Department at Imam Ali Holy Shrine, Haider Rahim, said in a statement followed by Shia Waves that, “Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf received around 3.995.000 pilgrims from last Thursday until Sunday 8pm KT.

Rahim added that, “The honorable pilgrims performed the special Ziyarah of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, expressing their happiness over this event, and their commitment to the Prophet and his family, peace be upon them.”
